Random: Training & Tidbits

- Ibrahimovic has taken part in Barca's training for the first time - and what an apparent effort he's making! We're liking the guy more and more every day. Ibra came onto the pitch met by applause from the squad, then started out with some light ballwork with a few other players before joining the rest of the team. Later he worked on his own when the others moved on to more contact work. Ibra proved particularly effective during shooting practice, scoring nine out of ten shots; more pictures from the training session below.

- Actress Eva Longoria wants to be the new face of FC Barcelona, to help popularize the club as well as the sport in the U.S.A. Perhaps Titi has something to do with it too... Eva stopped by Barca's training to see him and also had a chat with Pep Guardiola. What do you think, would she make a good signing?

- Bojan Krkic hopes to someday wear the number '9' at Barca (previously worn by Eto'o, now Ibra), the same number as his idol, former Barca player Patrick Kluivert - how cute is that? In related news, Dani Alves will now be wearing the number '2', as a tribute to fellow Brazilian Cafu, after it was occupied last year by Caceres.

- Leo Messi is on top of his game and on top of the world - he visited the Space Needle, an iconic skyscraper of the city of Seattle, yesterday morning; going right to the top to pose for some pictures before rushing back for training - more here.

- Barca player Xavi Hernandez shares the cover of the FIFA 2010 video game with Real Madrid's Karim Benzema - really now, putting a Culé and Madridista together? That's just clever...

- It looks like the club is making deals with each of Microsoft and clothes brand Dsquared - ah, perhaps the latter can teach Pique what fashion is about.

- Barca may no longer have Eto'o, but Ibrahimovic is like him in at least one way: they're both car fanatics. Ibra's also nuts about video games - no wonder when asked about Leo Messi in an interview, his response was "Leo is like PlayStation. He is PlayStation!"
