The new grass on Camp Nou makes its debut for Barca's traditional Gamper Cup match, this year facing Manchester City, the host of such stars as Robinho, Adebayor, Messi's compatriot Carlos Tevez, and Yaya's brother, Kolo Toure.
Messi and Ibra both got their greenlights to play yesterday, and will be able to particpate in this match. Henry and Abidal are still recovering however, and it's uncertian if they'll play; what is certian, however, is that Marquez and Iniesta are still out nursing injuries, and won't be playing. Apart from B-teamers Muniesa, Fontas, Jeffren and Jonathan, who have been training with the team frequently, Pep also called up Montoya, Bartra, Thiago and Gai to take part in yesterday's training session.
With Barca dressing up for this match with special shirts for the occasion, the quality of the players we are up against and Ibrahimovic making his debut, this is sure to be the team's most exciting preseason game yet - we can hardly wait for it!
