Random: The Last Supper

Following their training session on Monday, Pep and the boys went out for their final dinner together at the Solo restaurant in Barcelona. While Pep showed up with Catalan rock stars David and José Muñoz, pictured with him here, the rest of the players mostly brought thier WAGs along with them.

It seems that no one was quite sure how to dress for the occasion, with some, like Henry and Abidal, choosing to go all out casual, while others, like Dani and Gudjohnsen, thought best to suit it up. We're gonna go with the in-between look of dress shirt with jeans that most of the others showed up in. As for the chicas, their choice of dress was generally fitting for the occasion, but we must draw the line at the purple balloon thing Hleb's gal opted for.

We're wondering at the fact that Vic was sans girlfriend, since she always seems to be on his arm and getting him into trouble, but we're not complaining. Leo too showed up alone... but then, Antonella is probably back in Argentina. Long distance relationships... only Leo could ever make that work. He's just the cutest.

Pique showed up alone with his arms swingin' freely, we love that this man continually remains without a girlfriend (until we make our move, of course). Naturally, he was quite the attention catcher of teenage girls on the premisis; and he even sang a little song for them. Was there ever anything more adorable than our Geri?

As he arrived, Eto'o came to the rescue of a camera man at the door, his arm shooting out to catch the tripping reporter before he hit the ground. Eto'o's quick striker reflexes are with him off the pitch as well as on!

Even though he's injured, Rafa Marquez made the dinner as well, if he was the last one to arrive, with his girlfriend actress Jaydy Michel. Well, we can ignore her, and just drool over Rafa. My, how we miss this man...

Although, reports are that Rafa was among the first to leave the restaraunt, along with Keita, Yaya, Samu, Vic and Hleb, who also didn't stay long; others however, like Pep and Leo, made their exit around three in the morning, and the very last to go, after four, were Sylvinho, his wife, and who else but party animal Gerard Pique.
