Champions League: FC Barcelona vs Manchester United, Olímpico de Roma, Wednesday, May 27 2009, 20:45 CET

The moment draws ever closer... just about twenty four hours separate us from the kickoff of this match of matches, the final of finals, Roma 2009... Barca heads out to face Manchester United, the team that has been, along with Barcelona of course, the best in Europe this season. We're nervous, excited, jittery, anxious, totally psyched and near to a panic attack waiting for this one. It's bound to be a fantastic match, and if we win, oh should we win...

To have achieved Champions League victory, and on top of that the treble, would just be the ultimate dream come true. Barca will be the first team to get the treble in ten years, the last ones to have got it being Manchester United themselves back in 1999, and also, such a victory would mark the first treble ever in the history of Barcelona or any other Spanish team. The most perfect and utterly amazing cap-off to what has been a most splendid season... just picturing it is incredible.

And we're confident in the team's ability to win... we know they can do it, and we trust in these boys every step of the way. And we know that whatever happens, they wiil be out there doing their best and playing their hearts out for us all. And our hearts are with them...

Things are evening out in the squad as Henry and Iniesta are now training normally with the team, and should be fully fit to start this match. Gaby Milito, Rafa Marquez, Jorquera, Dani Alves, and Víctor Sánchez are all still injured and won't make the match, besides the fact that Dani Alves as well as Abidal are suspended. The defense is worrying us a bit because we're missing alot of key players, however we trust Pep to find a way around it! He's called youth defenders Alberto Botía and Marc Muniesa to the squad as backup, as well.

The full squad for Roma: Valdés, Pinto, Puyol, Piqué, Botía, Muniesa, Cáceres, Sylvinho, Xavi, Touré, Busquets, Keita, Gudjohnsen, Iniesta, Messi, Eto'o, Bojan, Henry, Hleb, Pedro.

We truly hope it goes well!
