In: Gaby Milito returned to training with the squad last Tuesday, after he’d been unable to do so for a while. Hopefully this means that his recovery is going as planned and he’ll be rejoining the team in not too long. Out: Eric Abidal picked up an injury in the game against Espanyol, which, upon examination, turned out to be the rupture of a muscle in his right thigh. Reports are that he could be out for up to eight weeks, and that’s truly distressing, but we hope he’ll recover well and be back soon.
In-Between: Andres Iniesta picked up an injury in training prior to the derby against Espanyol, and was at the time reported to be out for ten days to two weeks. We’re still awaiting any news of his condition, but he might make this weekend’s Liga match as Barca face Athletico Madrid.
