Gossip on the Guys: Xavi’s Autobiography

Our midfield ace Xavi Hernandez launched his auto-biography, called “My Life is Barca”, at Camp Nou yesterday. His family and representatives of the club, including president Joan Laporta, all attended the event.

Xavi explained that he had doubts about writing the book at first, but that everyone convinced him to go through with it in the end. He’s very happy and feels that now is the right time for the book’s release, after he has been at Barca for ten years.

So run out and get your copy now, this is one thriller you don’t want to miss! We’re sure the book is quite exciting, what with Xavi’s action-packed career and all the different clubs he’s been with—er, wait, he’s been on Barca since he was nine, hasn’t he?

Well, the book must contain some intriguing accounts of his experiences on the pitch; the tussles he’s gotten into, the match tension, the anger—hang on. When was the last time we saw Xavi lose his temper on the pitch?

Okay, at least Xavi must explain, somewhere in the book, why he still lives with his parents at 29 years of age. That, at least, should be interesting…
