Post-Match Buzz: Appeals for Leo and Pep

Just as we expected they would, the club is going to appeal to the UEFA against Pep's sending off from the stadium and also the yellow card given to Messi in the recent UCL quarter final against Bayern Munich. However, the it may be a few days before the decision is announced, because of the Easter holidays—the UEFA will probably not rule until next Tuesday, the day of the return leg in Munich.
.
That said, we don't really care how long it takes, as long as justice is served and Leo's card in particular is revoked.

But oh, why couldn't they have appealed Rafa's yellow as well? Booked for wasting time, seriously, that is so pointless...

  1. Hey :) First of all let me tell you how much I love reading all of your entries, particularly the ones about the players personal life, can't get that anywhere else :D

But it was entirely Márquez intentions to get booked, because then he'll have three yellow cards and be out in the second leg and not risk getting the third next week in München and be out in the first leg of semi finals (I'm absolutely sure they'll win on tuesday). I hope ya'll understand what I'm trying to say :D

  2. Hey hon! Thanks for the kind words :) it's always great to have the support!

You have a great point there, that it'd be safer for Rafa to miss the next match rather than risk getting the yellow for the semi, however Pep could always do that the tactical way and keep him on the bench for the second leg. But when it's this way, Rafa misses the match and he's not even on the bench, and so we don't see him at all... our main concern is missing him during the match, because he's just too way hot, and we don;t want to go the match without seeing him, you know? Hopefuly he'll be in the stands though and we'll have a glimps of him...
