Injury Report: Varying Degrees Of Progress

Luck just isn't on Barca's side lately. We've been having some tough matches, our players are being sidelined one by one with swine flu and muscle problems, and now, just as we approach two very crucial matches, Lionel Messi has been struck with injury.

Leo's got some first degree damage on the adductor muscle in his left thigh. Medics are saying it's nothing major, but it's still doubtful whether he can play against Inter tomorrow. If he does, we don't see him starting. At least he should be fully ready for the Classico - or at least, we hope so.

In any case, Leo is optimistic about Barca's abilities: "We will move forward, it is unfortunate that this happens now because I always dream of playing these big games, if I do not, nothing happens because we are a winning team and we will succeed as is. Whoever we have on the pitch we must not forget that we are Barca and we have a great team." Let's hope he's right!

In happier news, Ibrahimovic is doing well and shows signs of improvement in regards to his muscle injury, while Rafa Marquez has been cleared of all swine flu suspicions and will probably play tomorrow.

As for our two victims to the flu, no word on how Abidal is doing but Yaya is completely ruled out. Hopefully both will recover soon!
