Injury Report: Swine Flu Strikes Barca

Oh dear - Barca boys Eric Abidal and Yaya Toure have been diagnosed with H1N1, more commonly known as swine flu. The club's medical staff are doing everything they can by way of treatment as well as prevention for the other players; but other reports suggest that Rafael Marquez may have already caught it. This is truly upsetting news, we wish the boys a good and full recovery!

Pep has probably put the rest of the players in gas masks and confined them to isolated sterilized vacuum cubicles to keep them protected from the flu until the danger has passed; only letting them out one by one for solo training on a new-and-improved Camp Nou which he's installed with air purifiers for a safer match arena tonight. Let's hope his methods are successful and there are no more casualties.

Naturally, Rafa and Yaya won't be able to play in tonight's match, while Abidal was already sidelined even prior to his diagnosis, having picked up an injury on international duty. Elsewhere, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suffering from never-ending muscle complications, and now word is that he might have to miss out against Inter Milan and Real Madrid - we desperately hope not!
