It didn't take nearly as long as others such as Valdes, just a couple of weeks of negotiations before an agreement was finally reached. We're glad things worked out so smoothly, and Yaya Toure is officially signed up for three more years of Barca!The contract was finalized yesterday, and it's been made out for June 30, 2012, with the buy-out clause upped from 6o to 100 million euros. Nothing has been confirmed on the new salary Yaya wil recieve, but we hear it's around five million. And well deserved, too! Yaya oozes confidence and solidity on the pitch, a basic part of Barca; we're so thrilled he's staying on the team.
