- Barca's upcoming match against Rubin Kazan is no small deal. Weather conditions are looking to be pretty harsh, with the climate there at this time of year much colder than what our players are used to, and measures have been taken... from the team traveling to Kazan two days before match day to get used to the cold a bit, to the special gear designed by Nike to keep the players warm. Rubin are used to playing in this weather so they're at a greater advantage, but on the bright side for us, Dani Alves has made a record comeback and is cleared to play!.
- Remember when Diego Maradona immitated Pep by making a motivational video for his players? Now he's doing it again by choosing a song to be the background track for his team, like Pep did with Coldplay's Viva La Vida. Diego's chosen a ballad from Argentine singer Valeria Lynch for the purpose - at this point, it seems like he'll try anything to get the bounce back into his boys.
- When the team were in Pamplona for their match against Osasuna, they got the usual attention from the crowds, with Pique of course drawing most of it... and he even complied to one fan's request via the sign she was holding up asking him for a kiss by giving her a peck on the cheek. That lucky chica - we're buckets deep in jealousy..
