- Leo sends everyone greetings from Barca's training camp, Bisham Abbey, London, and begs for someone to please make Pep take it easy on them. The coach's been working the boys extra hard today, with two training sessions involving a mixture of physical and tactical exercises. They focused on ball skills, defensive pressure and building stamina, with Pep in the midst of everything making the sure the players were doing things right, and interrupting frequently to correct them (pictures below). Barca prez Joan Laporta also stopped by at the hotel this morning to say hello to the boys.- Barca's traditional Gamper Cup friendly will officially be played against Manchester City, facing such players as Tevez, Robinho, and Adebayor. City have participated in the Cup once before in 1982 (when it used to be a four-team-tournament).
- Including recently debuted Marc Muniesa and the afore-mentioned Jonathan Dos Santos, eleven B-teamers are called up to the squad, for preseason at least. Get to know the new names and faces here.
- Barca's Henrique will be keeping a 'blog' updated daily until next Sunday, describing his first few days as a Barca player. Read the first installment from yesterday here and today's installment here.
- In passing, it just struck us how incredibly hot Henrique is. Those cheekbones, the shoulders - everything about him just screams hunk! We're even more excited now that he's rejoined the team, after being on loan with Bayer Leverkusen for the past year.
