Rafael Marquez's new deal with the club is officially signed, sealed and stashed away for safekeeping until 2012.Says Rafa: "I knew that at first there might be differences, but we should reach an agreement. So I never doubted the renewal option. When you have stability in your work you feel much calmer. Now I promise to maintain a very strong mentality to continue performing at the highest level and then I can practically finish my career at Barca."
Haters go away, down here we're happy that he's renewed. At the very least, if Pep and the club see fit for him to stay onboard then trust them... besides, his splendiferous hair is reason enough to keep him.
