Champions League: FC Barcelona vs Olympique Lyon, Camp Nou, Wednesday, March 11 2009, 20: 45 CET

Barca are next set to face Lyon in the second leg of the Champions League last sixteen, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. The lads are back to their winning ways, and what with the 1-1 draw in the first leg and Barca playing at home for this one, the only way we won’t qualify is if we lose.
Which is extremely unlikely.
Seeing the way the lads played on Saturday, we’re just expecting them to give Lyon a good thrashing. We really can’t wait for this one!
Our darling Captain Puyol is set so miss this one following the injury he picked up against Bilbao, but he should be the only KO for this match. And seeing how lovely Pique and Marquez have been, Puyi’s absence shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

  1. Looks like Barcelona are on track to win the league this year. With 6 points clear of Madrid it's far from over but it looks like Barça have the upper hand.
